The Solo is orffered in 2 different pilot suspension´s. He is used with us since the beginnings during 80/90 years. Reliability and quietness are his strengths. During all years it was developed in this engine, so that he has still today big supporters among the pilots.
The implementation CB owns twistable push rods. These push rods make the engine immun for turning on the back and reduce the effect of the torque to the glider. The agreed distance of the engine to the back raises the seat and flight comfort.
The twistable push bars gave his name to the engine. CB as a meaning comfort bar.
Solo there is also in the Eco version. He differs by a small exhaust and cylinder head. Thereby it is lighter of Solo 3 kg. Then the power lies with 8 kw (12 kw with resonator).For pilots up to 80 kg. Save money us Eco.
The Cbi has an integierten rescue container from stretchy neoprene material. The rescuer at the side right then here simplifies the Groundhandling and brings clear view forwards. He is quick with a zipper and to remove simply from the belt stuff.
The state kind implementation of the cage is the ORC (One ring Cage).As well the DRC (double ring cage) option can be also ordered free of additional cost´s. This cage variation should find use with the trike. The cage is more stable and offers more protection for propeller and glider.
The in addition available E starter is right in order to save space and weight-optimised. The battery is a 1700 mAh Nicad with 16.8 volts. The battery is charged in the flight by the generator. One or two 12 volt connections can be used for transceiver or GPS.
Our new rugged gearbox is for both Solo and Monster units. All new engines will now be supplied with this system. Belt adjustment is by a simple eccentric Cam. Now also available as a retro-fit kit.
The carburettor in this engine is a Bing type 84. This carburettor simply to be served has proved itself on the Solo for a lot of years.
Optionally can also ordered of the Walbro WB 37.With 3 being outside screws the carburettor is adjustable.The carburettor works in every attitude and petrol cannot run out while the transport.
