The XCitor is the flagship of Fresh Breeze. With its aerodynamically shaped cage, it is the king of the sky. Whether flying schools, commercial passenger flights or private: More than 500 pilots are enthusiastic about this ingenious aircraft. The powerful Hirth engine with its 67 HP also brings heavy pilots into the sky with an excellent rate of climb.
Enough features are available to adapt this aircraft individually to our customer requirements.
The Hirth 3503 engine -made in Germany- gives the XCitor from Fresh Breeze its power. The 2-cylinder 2-stroke in-line engine is extremely quiet thanks to its balanced masses. Perfectly tuned by us, the flagship of Fresh Breeze receives a powerful, yet reliable engine for a long time.
The electrical system is the most extensive on this aircraft. In addition to the fully electronic injection system, there is also plenty of generator power, e.g. for radio, heating clothing, anti-collision light available. Of course, this engine also has an electric starter.
Part of the engine concept is the relatively low propeller speed. This ensures the incomparable, quiet and low-vibration flight experience. The fully enclosed gearbox with the gear ratio of 3.65: 1 is almost wear-free and requires only little maintenance. The centrifugal clutch can be found on the gearbox, which also offers great safety during take-off and landing with this high-performance device.
The exhaust system specially developed by Fresh Breeze is perfectly matched to the engine speed. As usual in a 2-stroke engine, this resonance exhaust is an essential component of the engine and is largely responsible for its power release. This indestructible exhaust has passed all the noise tests required for ultralight flying.
The mixture preparation of the XCitor takes place via an electronically controlled injection system. Temperature and air pressure have an influence on the mixture. This ensures optimal combustion at any altitude. In conjunction with water cooling, the engine is able to process a low-oil fuel mixture of 1: 100.
Together, the interlocking blade roots form the hub of the propeller and are fixed in place using a propeller pressure plate.
This propeller is optionally equipped with an integrated nickel-cobalt protective edge, which makes it particularly resistant even under extreme conditions, e.g. use in the desert.
The fixed twisted blade profile is specially designed for the XCitor, so no adjustment of the pitch is necessary.
The Autogyro propeller consists of the blades and the propeller hub. This design makes it possible to change the pitch of the propeller and thus to fine-tune the device to the flight conditions.
The liquid cooling system also does an excellent job in extreme conditions - from Northern Siberia to the desert. The air intake ensures the optimal flow to the cooler, which significantly reduces turbulence in front of the propeller. A thermostat ensures the optimal operating temperature of the engine.
The XCitor is made by hand in an aluminum frame construction. The symbiosis of design and function makes the XCitor what it is. The two upper tubes of the frame take up the wing suspension and the trim system and offer maximum protection for the occupants. The ultra-light frame made of the highest quality materials has been tested with a 6g load test under German quality standards. The frame also includes the aerodynamically, hand manufactured propeller cage. The color of the cell is optional.
Of course, a suspension / spring fork is built into this premium product. The large suspension travel supports the function of the rear axle. Optionally, the fork can be equipped with the large front wheel and adjustable pedals. Also attached to the fork are the throttle and the brake controls.
In the basic version, the large cockpit in the XCitor is equipped with the following components:
Individual requests such as a built-in radio or the FlyHenry motor meter are possible. Using the cruise throttle lever the engine speed can be adjusted variably.
Flying schools appreciate the optional additional foot throttle and the teacher console. With the console, the flight instructor can also start / stop the engine and take part in radio communication.
The two trim levers, which are ergonomically positioned, give the pilots maximum control over the wing suspension system. In addition to the trimming of the glider, the heading can be adjusted by these two levers.
Thanks to the ingenious geometry and the freewheel, the pilot can easily master the forces on the glider and even long flights with lots of changes in the heading won't make the pilot tired.
The wing suspension for the XCitor represents an unique and extraordinary type of wing suspension. In contrast to conventional wing suspensions, the line levels are attached separately to a bracket made of high-strength aircraft aluminum. The two brackets can be rotated relative to each other, so the pilot has a completely different way of controlling the paraglider. The pitch control system (PCS) is part of this suspension and ensures flying with significantly reduced pitching movements. Due to the rigid wing suspension, a natural shortening of the A-level is achieved when the aircraft takes off, which means that the wing starts quick and easy. With this ingenious feature, invented by Fresh Breeze, the paragliders performance can be maximized: adjustable speed range of up to 80km/h, high collapsing stability and high maneuverability.
The XCitor is equipped with the Magnum 450 ballistic rescue system. The pilot and his passenger enjoy the highest level of safety in the air. The trigger handle is easily accessible for pilot and passenger. In an emergency, the reserve parachute opens within 3 seconds.
Part of the XCitor concept is the usage on the road, which means that the rear axle must pass high standards. The rear axle geometry enables the camber-free deflection behavior. The XCitor owes its extreme tilt stability to this feature. The shock absorber unit is specially developed for this device. Takeoff and landing on uneven surfaces and long-distance use on the road are no problem.
The XCitor can easily be pulled as a trailer behind your car up to 100 km / h. You only have to mount the towbar and the light bar and you can start driving to the airfield. The cover protects your XCitor from dirt, dust and rain.
The optionally available, high-quality intercom system from LYNX ensures the best voice quality between pilot and passenger with very good shielding from engine and wind noise.
The two custom-made seats ensure comfort in the XCitor. Uncompromising lightweight construction means no loss of safety and comfort for the pilot and his passenger. The removable seat cushions facilitate the cleaning of the aircraft. Optionally, the seats can also be made in a different design and / or material. We are happy to respond to individual customer requests. Here you can see our premium seats "Nobel" in individual design.
The certified anti-collision light is a real eye-catcher. In addition to the safety aspect, your trike will also be visually upgraded.
