Trike for double-seating under 120kg

The X-LIght is our lightweight trike offering the pilots and their passengers the best comfort during flight with an outstanding 360°view. The passenger seat is in a trim-neutral position under the centre of gravity, which means that you don’t need to change the hangpoint before flying solo. The <120 kg trike has many configuration options including different engine options and a selection of specially designed trike gliders.

The F23 -made in Germany- is the most powerful motor for trikes <120 kg. The boxer design has always been tried and tested in aircraft construction because it offers a complete mass balance. You can rely on this indestructible 500 cc engine, it is powerful and compact.



The belt transmission reliably transfers the power to the engine. The belt is conveniently tensioned via an eccentric bearing. The reduction ratio is 3.08: 1.



This engine is air-cooled. The enlarged cylinder heads specially adapted by Fresh Breeze offer a significantly larger cooling surface. In connection with the air scoops, the incoming air is guided perfectly to the point of greatest heat.



A motor meter is installed as standard for temperature monitoring. Exhaust gas and cylinder head temperatures can be precisely monitored with this. The alternator is also able to supply other electrical accessories with voltage. With the electric starter, the engine can be started even at low temperatures.



The exhaust system specially developed by Fresh Breeze is perfectly matched to the engine speed. As usual in a 2-stroke engine, this resonance exhaust is an essential component of the engine and is largely responsible for its power release. This indestructible exhaust has passed all the noise tests required for ultralight flying.


Walbro carburetor

The weight-optimized overall concept of the engine includes the optimal mixture preparation using two membrane carburetors. Matching the rest of the engine, this eliminates the need for a fuel pump because it is integrated in the carburetor.

The Autogyro propeller consists of the blades and the propeller hub. This design makes it possible to influence the pitch angle of the propeller and thus fine-tune the device to the flight conditions.

This highly efficient 4-stroke engine -made in Switzerland- works according to the DOHC principle (double overhead camshaft). Equipped with a fully electronic control, this engine is particularly economical, but it is one of the most powerful engines from our company for the <120 kg class. The altitude compensation is one of the highlights that distinguish this motor.

The multi-part exhaust made of rustproof stainless steel is swinging / uncoupled throughout. Due to the light and shapely rear silencer, this easily passes the noise test of the DULV with just 55 dbA.



The engine naturally also has a generator that is responsible for the voltage supply to the instruments and for charging the battery. The built-in battery ensures a trouble-free engine start.



The liquid-cooled engine is extremely stable thermally. The already efficient 4-stroke engine has an optimally positioned water cooler. The water pump is driven directly via the balance shaft. This efficient design is part of the lightweight design concept of this engine.



The engine, which originates from racing, was modified at Fresh Breeze for flight use. The belt transmission integrated in the motor frame is adapted to the respective propeller size. The wide strap can be tensioned by means of an eccentric. The centrifugal clutch is on the crankshaft side - this safety aspect has not been left out of this premium product.


Motor control

The holistic engine control influences mixture preparation and ignition in this engine. With the help of the sensor data - pressure, speed, temperature - the engine is able to guarantee optimal combustion in all operating conditions.


Propeller cage

The two-part double ring cage made of high-strength aircraft aluminum is quick and easy to assemble and comes in two different colors. The line deflectors between the cage and trike support the function. When starting, the lines can easily be placed in the line holders.


Wing suspension

The ingenious geometry of the airframe ensures the maximum potential of the engine: the thrust is introduced neutrally and the engine-induced torque is counteracted. The stable straps absorb all vertical forces. The lift assistance is located at the front end of the push rod, causing the glider to start almost by itself.

XLight tank

The 28 l tank is permanently installed in the frame and, in addition to fuel storage, also acts as an ergonomic backrest for the passenger. This saves additional weight and you can enjoy long flights in the XLight.

Shock absorber

The shock absorber unit, which has been tried and tested in the XCitor, also fits into this light double-seater trike. This also makes it possible to take off and land on uneven surfaces, as well as the use on the road.

Rear axle

The 168 cm wide rear axle gives the XOne a particularly high level of stability. Especially beginners appreciate this feature very much. The tire plug-in system allows you to change between the different tires at lightning speed.



Of course, a suspensionfork is installed in the Xlight. The large suspension supports the function of the rear axle. In addition to the front wheel, the fork also holds the disc brake as well as the "throttle" and "brake" foot controls.


The big cockpit offers space for many different instruments. In the XLight installed is:

  • Flyhenry Motormeter
  • Start / stop switch
  • Hour meter
  • 12 V bayonet lock

Trailer hitch

A special highlight of the XLight is the possibility to use the trike as a trailer. So you can drive legally to the airfield with a maximum speed of 100 km/h. 

For German roads, the XLight requires a light bar, a TÜV certificate, the trailer hitch and the road tires.


The customized cover protects the XLight from wind and weather.


Rescue system

We recommend the Magnum 250 ballistic rescue system in case of an emergency with the XLight. This rescue system promises maximum safety for the passenger and the pilot.



In addition to the tires needed for legal flight operations, the road tires are available as part of the trailer kit. The proven plug-in system lets you change the wheels effortlessly and easily.
